Pipeline Protest at White House
I was arrested in front of the White House to protest against the construction of a risky oil pipeline that would carry oil from Canada's tar sands. I spent a few hours in jail to make the point that instead of importing more oil (through a $7 billion pipeline that would run from Alberta to Texas), we should be investing in clean renewable energy that doesn't cause climate change and doesn't pollute the air, land, and water.
