Purpose: UCP provides services to children and adults. It is the belief of the Board of Directors and staff at UCP that individuals have the right to develop emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and vocationally to their fullest potential. UCP serves individuals of any age, race, color, national or ethnic origin, or developmental disability. Our services are not limited to individuals with cerebral palsy. Most of our program participants do not have cerebral palsy. This website will provide you with numerous programs and services that they provide for the community in the PG county area.
Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network

Purpose: The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. This nationwide partnership of more than 1,100 local rape treatment hotlines provides victims of sexual assault with free, confidential services around the clock. The hotline helped 137,039 sexual assault victims in 2005 and has helped more than one million since it began in 1994.

Purpose: The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive. The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees.
